Withagee Glass Art on sale at Etsy UK
Friday 1st December is late night shopping in Seaton! We’ll be open until 8pm with mulled wine and Christmas treats and new stock for your very own preview. During December we will open on Saturdays until 4pm (instead of the usual 2pm). Here are just a few of the new Christmas items: I’ve been playing around with transfers for the first time, in both 4″ coasters and Little Gem sizes – just adorable!! These are also available on the Shop page of the website.
And some updates to my favourite 10″ curves and Christmas decorations too, also on the Shop page :
Some of the commissions I have completed in the last few months: a set of three 12″ mounted seaside scenes, plus an even bigger brighter one to cheer up a dark space, all now safely installed in the south of France.
A favourite greyhound, a very particular Manchester bee,
one hot air balloon that dropped in for breakfast at the camp site (making this great photo for the clients and their son!)
and a little group of tortoises that are now standing up by themselves on an S-shaped curve. These requests have all added challenge and variety in the past few months 🙂
I’ve started!! The Christmas creations are in progress. This year I have new Little Gems with a special metallic ‘inclusion’ which keeps its colour beautifully. Featuring cats, reindeer, snowflakes, holly and hearts. Jolly little stockings and robins, approx 3″ tall, ready to hang in the window or on your tree. I have another 10 of each in the kiln, ready to go, some in the photo below. I’ll leave you to guess what colour they will become (did you know they change colour in the kiln?) 😀 And finally the Snow Couples look sweet now they have been curved! All ready for a night-light to sit behind them and keep them warm on your window ledge. Prices and sizes detailed below.
Little Gems, 1.75″ square, £6 each or 3 for £15. Stockings & Robins, approx 3″ tall, £8 each for 2 for £15. Snowcouple curves, 10″ long, £35 each with Christmas gift box. Minimum order value, £30. Post & Packing, £5 by courier, UK only. Payment by bacs transfer, contact me for details. Everything currently available in the studio.
October News : WithaGee Glass Art is now available for sale on the Internet – at last !!
Find me on Etsy UK and search for withageeglassart (it needs to be all one word at the moment, if I find out how to change this, I’ll let you know!) or just click on this link: https://www.etsy.com/uk/shop/withageeglassart
I’m only putting on the higher value items to start with, to test it out and see if it is worthwhile. Meantime, if you could ‘favourite’ the online shop to help raise my profile that would be great 🙂
And this weekend, I’m taking a break and making the most of the sunshine. This is where I’ll be : https://www.seakayakingcornwall.com/symposium/ I’m back in on Tuesday, have a good time 😀
Hi Everyone, what a great summer it’s been. Hope you have all enjoyed it 😀
I’m taking a break from the Studio for a week from Monday 18th September, back in on Tuesday 23rd September. And again from Friday 13th October, back in on Tuesday 24th October.
Then I’ll be thinking about Halloween; pumpkins, witches, black cats (no surprise there!) and ghosts. Maybe cobwebs. And then, (dare I say it?) Christmas stock…. woo hoooo.
These are some of my favourite August creations. I have more Jurassic Coasters and black cat pictures awaiting firing now. Little tortoise was a commission. The 10″ Winter Hills is currently in my window.
And these are some from July. Please get in touch if you’d like more details. Enjoy! 😀
I’ll be away from 4th-18th June 2017, back in the studio on Tuesday 20th June. Have fun while I’m away. Here are some of the May commissions, each has their own story 😀
